Great service, great food. I wouldn’t consider the pizza to be New York style, but it was still amazing. I would say it’s more of a homemade style crust. We also ordered pasta and all of it was amazing. Will definitely be returning.
Came for a weekend getaway to nanaimo. Found new York style pizza and it really intrigued me. We tried the big apple pizza. It was amazing. Fully loaded. Definitely a go to place for pizza lovers. Jolley was our server and she was very inviting. Our compliments go to the cooks. Way to go!
We just had dinner here, it was very good! Kind and welcoming service. We recommend the Vancouver island brewing dark beer... That's very nice too. The food was fresh, well prepared, and its good food for a good price! And yes its not an New York pizza, if you want fast food, don't visit a restaurant..
We've patronized NYP for years and have never been disappointed. Lately we have especially enjoyed the House Salad. At times, either my wife or I have made a dinner of it. It is unusual and absolutely delicious. We would recommend it unreservedly, as we would most of the offerings. However, we've not had the pizzas, so can say nothing there.
We walk past often with intent to go in but tonight was finally the night with a premeditated trip down to eat here... We were not disappointed. The server was jolly and kind and the food was amazing. Portion size was unreal (left SO FULL) for a good price and it was delicious, too. With the live music as an added bonus, we will be back hands down. Probably frequently!
Always shocked at the low reviews on here because we absolutely love it here! The food is always great and the staff lovely. The manhattan salad is a favorite and despite the other complaints on here, we all love the pizza crust!
Dined here last night. Manhattan Salad was amazing as usual. I had a gluten free pizza crust with my Queens pizza. So good!! Thanks to our server Jody who has worked there for over 30 years. Great service! My son had the rib dinner and said it was excellent. We will definitely be back!
Wonderful evening! It was my Hubby's birthday and he thoroughly enjoyed his dinner and mine was delicious too. Great music! Friendly, efficient server! We couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate. Thank you!
